The star for this week’s deals is the WB Play The Legends bundle that includes multiple Batman, Mortal Kombat, Injustice, and Middle-earth games, for just $12! There’s also smaller indie titles available, along with a few retro releases that are part of Prime Gaming for August as well!
Build your own Scorching Bundle (Fanatical)

We’re starting off the deals today with a nice one for low price fans! This is hopefully on fire with the starting price being just $1.00 for 1 game, all the way down to $0.50 if you buy 10 or more.
The games initially available include,
- Against All Odds
- Broken Pieces (Sold Out)
- Dr Livingstone, I Presume? Reversed Escape Room
- Forrader Hero
- Metamorphosis
- Monument Valley: Panoramic Edition
- Monument Valley 2: Panoramic Edition
- Prophecy I – The Viking Child (1 of 2)
- Dorke & Ymp (2 of 2)
- Ruin Raiders (Sold Out)
- Subterror
- Teslagrad 2
- Teslagrad Remastered
- The Simulacrum
- The Sinking Forest – 沈んだ森 –
- THRIVE
After studying the deals for the above, there are some decent games, but others are also amazingly negative, too. Yet, focusing on the positive, the best rated games include Monument Valley 1 and 2, Forrader Hero, THRIVE, and Subterror. All of those are at least 90% positive! In the realm of value, The Sinking Forest is the real winner with a historical low of $4.99 (although it only has 38 reviews). Some other decent value games include THRIVE, Metamorphosis, the Monument Valley games, and Forrader Hero. All of those have at least a historical low of $1.99 or higher.

Best of Humble Bundle – WB Play Legends

This is the most exciting bundle of the week! It includes 17 titles, with Watchmen being a two-game bundle. The price for it all is only $12, or just over $0.70 per game. Now, some of these have been available for extremely cheap, but if you haven’t picked these before, now is a great time to do so!
The full list of games include,
- Back 4 Blood
- Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition
- Batman Arkham City Game of the Year Edition
- Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition
- Batman: Arkham Origins
- FEAR Ultimate Shooter Edition
- Gotham Knights
- Injustice: Gods Among Us – Ultimate Edition
- Injustice 2 Legendary Edition
- Mad Max
- Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition
- Middle-earth: Shadow of War Definitive Edition
- Mortal Kombat XL
- Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
- Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
- Watchmen: The End is Nigh Bundle

Of the titles bolded above, a few more could have been added due to how popular they are, but their historical lows were about $0.50. Some examples include Batman: Arkham Asylum and Injustice 1. Although I am not interested in the Mortal Kombat games, I still picked up this bundle because the convenience of getting the Batman titles and a few other games was just too much for me to resist. From my perspective, the only real drawback with this bundle is that it includes a lot of games that people may have bought in the past! Still, more than 50,000 copies of the bundle have been sold thus far!

Platinum Collection – Build your own Bundle (Fanatical, August 2025)

Admittedly, this bundle is a bit expensive (compared to the other ones discussed today). The price for the games starts at $3.33 each if you buy three, but goes down to $2.86 each for purchasing 7+ at a time. The bundle features a wide variety of games from many different genres.
They are,
- Born of Bread
- Choo-Choo Charles
- Deadlink
- Decline’s Drops
- Desecrators
- Dream Tactics
- Edge of Sanity
- Fallout 76
- Gravity Circuit
- Grow: Song of the Evertree
- KINGDOM of the DEAD
- Lifeless Moon
- Madshot
- Nova Lands
- Subterrain: Mines of Titan
- Tails of Transpot
- Toads fo the Bayou
- Withering Rooms
As I alluded to above, the cool thing about this bundle is that it has a good variety of quality releases. Some of the most popular include Desecrators, Decline’s Drops, Withering Rooms, Dream Tactics, Nova Lands, and more. In regard to value, there’s Decline’s Drops, Deadlink, and Withering Rooms, all of which are great deals! In fact, they have historical lows of at least $11.39!
Just as an aside, some may be wondering why Dream Tactics is the game I put with this section. It’s simply the first one that I gravitated toward when I saw this bundle, and it is on my Steam wishlist (as of this writing).

Uncharted Realms Bundle (Humble Bundle)

The last bundle for the day is a collection of games that focus on exploration. For those who want to check out strange places, this one may be for you! The bundle has four different tiers, although the first three are the ones that are most interesting. The prices range from $5, all the way up to $12 for everything. The full bundle is 9 games, with the fourth tier only adding Fort Solis to your purchases. If you buy the third tier, it is about $1.13 per game.
The full list of titles include,
- Alba: A Wildlife Adventure (1st)
- the Eternal Cylinder (3rd)
- FAR: Changing Tides (1st)
- The Forgotten City (2nd)
- Fort Solis (4th)
- Journey To The Savage Planet (3rd)
- Moon Mystery (3rd)
- A Short Hike (1st)
- Under the Waves (2nd)
Because not every tier is really compelling to me, I’ve added the tier numbers next to the game names above. For me, the 2nd and 3rd tiers are the most intriguing. The reason being that the second tier has The Forgotten City in it, while the third has both Journey To The Savage Planet and The Eternal Cylinder. These latter games have significant historical lows that are more than $5.09 each. While the fourth tier has Fort Solis, which is a game with a historical low of more than $7.00, it is also a bit mixed when it comes to ratings. 31% of the reviews for it are negative. As such, I’d recommend just tiers 1, 2, or 3, and skipping the last game.

Prime Gaming for August 2025

Although we are a little less than half way through the month, I still want to take some time to highlight Prime Gaming titles that are available for members of Amazon Prime.
The full list of games for August is,
- Sid Meier’s Civilization® III Complete
- THIEF: Definitive Edition
- FATE: The Traitor Soul
- Filthy Animals | Heist Simulator
- City Legends: The Ghost of Misty Hill Collector’s Edition
- The Academy: The First Riddle
- Tin Hearts
- Necroking
- Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective
- Silver Box Classics
- Heroes of Loot 2
- Fantasy Empires
Of course, the reason why I am sharing this info is for the retro or retro-style games bolded above. I was quite glad to see Civilization III in the above list, along with Silver Box Classics. The latter of which is an assortment of multiple Dragonlance titles from the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. Fantasy Empires is a second D&D game that is included this month as well. In fact, these two games were part of a bundle that I reported on at the end of July. The number of games may not be great, but I still think this is a good month for fans of retro fans.
Outside of the games you get to keep, if you claim them in the allotted time frame, is The King of Fighters ’97 Global Match, which can be played on the Amazon Luna streaming service this month.
For see more about this month’s games, the Prime Gaming Blog may be worth looking into. If you have Amazon Prime, go to https://gaming.amazon.com/home, link your account(s), and get your games!
