The bundle deals for this week include an odd assortment of indie titles (many of which involve chess), another Capcom bundle offer, one related to surviving on your own, and finally a Supreme Collection from Fanatical.
Just so you are aware, there is a Stories From Latin America Bundle that I don’t explore in this post, but links to it are found at the bottom of this post. Also, I know that the most recent seasonal Steam sale began yesterday. I am currently preparing my notes for it and hope to release my recommendations either this weekend or next Tuesday. Thanks for your patience!
Build your own Bumper Bundle (Fanatical)

Well, in the context of the name of this bundle, I’m not sure why they’re using the word “bumper”? Yet, I expect that these deals will be of interest to some of my readers. Especially since the price of it starts at $1.00 per game and goes down to just $0.50 each if you buy 10 or more titles. Let’s see what we have here!
The games originally available include,
- 911 Operator
- Chess Knights: High Noon (1 of 4, Sold Out)
- Knight’s Retreat (2 of 4, Sold Out)
- Knight Swap (3 of 4, Sold Out)
- Knight Swap 2 (4 of 4, Sold Out)
- Hammerwatch II
- Hang The Kings (1 of 4)
- Unlock The King (2 of 4)
- Unlock The King 2 (3 of 4)
- Unlock The King 3 (4 of 4)
- Jessie ‘Boom’ James – a jigsaw chess tale (1 of 2)
- Shinobi’s Way – a jigsaw chess tale (2 of 2)
- Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager
- Lootbox Lyfe (1 of 2)
- Wanted Shadows (2 of 2)
- Mars Power Industries Deluxe (2 copies of the same game)
- Quadroids
- RATSHAKER
- Rocket Rats
- Ragnarok Chess (1 of 3)
- Samurai Chess (2 of 3)
- Wild Wild Chess (3 of 3)
- Sclash
- Soul Stalker
- Teslagrad Remastered (1 of 2)
- Teslagrad 2 (2 of 2)
- Zen Chess Sextuple Pack
Sadly, this ended up not being the most exciting bundle. I think the most intriguing aspect to it is the fact that it has several chess-related titles. But other than that, I wasn’t really able to notice a consistent theme for this group of games. Even though I do have titles listed in the best value and best rated categories down below, nothing is particularly exciting among those. As in, they don’t save buyers a massive amount of money compared to their historical lows Still, I hope some people will like this bundle!
Some of the notable games are,
Best Value: RATSHAKER, Rocket Rats, and Quadroids.
Best Rated: Quadroids, Rocket Rats, and RATSHAKER.

Build your own Capcom Ultimate Bundle (Fanatical)

What, another Capcom bundle? OK, here we go again! This one has one tier where the price is $15.00 per game if you buy 2 or more. Making the starting price for the deals to be $29.99. There is no opportunity to lower the price by buying more. You may not think that there’s anything worth mentioning about this offer since we’ve been talking about Capcom bundles a lot in the last month. But this Capcom Ultimate Bundle has some interesting inclusions.
They are,
- Ace Attorney Investigations Collection
- Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy
- Capcom Arcade Stadium (1 of 2)
- Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium (2 of 2)
- Capcom Fighting Collection 2
- Dead Rising Digital Deluxe Remaster
- Monster Hunter Rise Deluxe Edition (1 of 2)
- Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Deluxe Edition (2 of 2)
- Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin – Deluxe Edition
- Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Digital Deluxe
- Onimusha 2 – Samurai’s Destiny
- Resident Evil Village Gold Edition
What is most interesting about the list above is that it includes multiple games that have not been bundled before. Some include Onimusha 2, Apollo Justice, Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, and Capcom Fighting Collection 2. Hopefully that means that in the future there will be a bundle that has Capcom Fighting Collection 2 and the Marvel Vs. Capcom Collection together. That would be very cool!
Some of the notable games are,
Best Value: Capcom Fighting Collection 2, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, and Ace Attorney Investigations Collection.
Best Rated: Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, and Capcom Fighting Collection 2.

Lone Survivor Bundle (Humble Bundle)

Our first bundle from Humble Bundle is the Lone Survivor Bundle. It has 2 tiers, with the largest having 9 games for $12.00, which comes out to $1.33 each.
The games included are,
- Above Snakes
- Breathedge
- Chernobylite Premium Edition
- Conan Exiles
- DUCKSIDE
- Forager
- Force of Nature 2: Ghost Keeper
- Starsand
- State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition
When I first began doing analysis for this bundle, I was impressed by the fact that every game has a high historical low. Even the cheapest games, like Breathedge and State of Decay 2 have historical lows of about $2.50 and $2.99, respectively. Yet, this bundle’s price per game is just $1.33, which is really nice! As such, from a value perspective, if you like these games then it is definitely worth the money. Unfortunately, there are a lot of titles in this collection that are not the most popular. Some examples include Above Snakes and Starsand. That’s a bit disappointing.
Some of the notable games are,
Best Value: Chernobylite Premium Edition, Force or Nature 2, and Forager.
Best Rated: Forager, State of Decay 2, and Breathedge.

Build your own Supreme Collection (Fanatical)

Our last bundle from Fanatical is this Supreme Collection bundle, and it is not cheap! The prices for the games start at $12.50 each if you buy 2, with the price going down modestly to $11.50 each if you buy four or more at a time.
The games available include,
- Construction Simulator
- Dead Island 2
- Gatekeeper – Deluxe Edition
- HASTE
- High On Life DLC Bundle
- KIBORG
- Len’s Island
- Metal: Hellsinger – Complete Edition
- Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden – Deluxe Edition
- Saloon Simulator
- Slender Threads
- Squirrel with a Gun (1 of 2)
- Wild Bastards (2 of 2)
- Still Wakes the Deep – The Complete Collection
- Teenage Mutant ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate
- Thaumaturge, The
- V Rising (1 of 2)
- Sinister Evolution (2 of 2)
Like is the case with some other bundles, you need to be careful with this one. A lot of the games have historical lows that are not much better than what we find here. For example, the Len’s Island and High on Life: DLC bundle both have historical lows that better than the $12.50 found here. Moreover, multiple games have historical lows of $13 to $15. Which means that a starting price of 12.50 for each title is not that exciting. I’d recommend looking at the games above and trying to purchase only the ones that are financially reasonable. Of course, the bolded games have historical lows of greater than $12.50.
Some of the notable games are,
Best Value: KIBORG, Metal: Hellsinger, and Still Wakes the Deep.
Best Rated: Metal: Hellsinger, Slender Threads, HASTE, and Saloon Simulator.
