Our first piece of news is that volumes 9 and 10 in the ACA Neo Geo Selection series has been announced! These are the latest in a series of physical releases that compile 10 different titles from the Nintendo eShop. Each cart is scheduled for release on December 18, 2025 in Asian regions. If the previous carts are any indication, these will not be published in USA or Europe, although they are often available from other retailers such as eBay, Video Games Plus, and Play Asia.

Volume 9 has,

  • Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory
  • Karnov’s Revenge
  • The King of Fighters 2001
  • King of the Monsters

Last week a trailer for Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection was shared on YouTube. It’s a compilation of seven Nintendo DS titles which were originally released in the mid to late 2000’s. They have been collected with new features such as additional screen layouts, difficulty settings, and new assist settings.

One of the best new features include online matching against other players. Although, as is shared on the game’s official website, cross play between platforms is not supported. The collection will also have a high-resolution filter available to smooth out the pixelated graphics. Finally, there’s also a gallery of 1000+ images to peruse and a music player.

The games include,

  • Mega Man star Force Leo
  • Mega Man Star Force Dragon
  • Mega Man Star Force Pegasus
  • Mega Man Star Force 2 ZerkerXNinja
  • Mega Man Star Force 2 ZerkerXSaurian
  • Mega Man Star Force 3 Black Ace
  • Mega Man Star Force 3 Red Joker

Revival Edition of City Hunter, the PC Engine Game, Announced

Revival Edition City Hunter PC Engine

Our last piece of news for today is related to a PC Engine title. About 35 years ago an official game in the City Hunter franchise was released on the PC Engine. Of course, since the anime was not widely known here, it never came to America on the TurboGrafx-16. Nor was it ever officially released in English.

That changes next year when a Revival Edition of the game comes out! It will be available on Steam, Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, and PlayStation 5. No info on the price of the game has been released yet. However, the game is scheduled to come out on February 26th, 2026.
