This Tuesday we have bundles from both Fanatical and Humble Bundle for a variety of genres. At least three out of four are quite good, with titles for pet lovers, fans of tower defense or platformer games, and one for those who want to check out Max Payne and Alan Wake. Let’s get started!

Critter Chaos Bundle (Humble Bundle)

Our first bundle is the Critter Chaos Bundle from Humble Bundle. As you’ll see, we’re starting off really great, especially for pet lovers! The bundle is made up of three tiers, with the highest being for eight games for $14.00 which comes out to $1.75 each.

For the full bundle the games are,

As shown above with all the bold titles, this is a remarkably good bundle! Every game is at least 80% positive and have a historical low of greater than $1.75. In fact, the lowest priced game is Coromon which has a historical low of $2.29. Titles that are in the third tier all have historical lows of $11.99 and up, too! This is such a great bundle and excellent value for those who are fans of our little animal friends!

By the way, I want to point out that one of the games here, Fruitbus, is currently on sale on Steam at 40% off, or $14.99. The thing that is remarkable about this is that the bundle here is $14. A bundle of 8 games is cheaper than one game somewhere else! This is illustrative of why it matters to look at bundle offers to see where you can save money and be more efficient with the funds you have so you can play them in an economical manner. OK, I just wanted to say that. I’ll get off my soapbox and now we will continue with our regularly scheduled programming.

I also shared this concept in a YouTube video. You can find it here.

Some of the notable games are,

Best Value: Temtem, Fruitbus, and Farewell North.
Best Rated: Meg’s Monster, Farewell North, and Cassette Beasts.

Wall World Complete

Coming to the first bundle from Fanatical, we have one for tower defense fans! This is a build your own bundle and the prices for the games start at $1.65 if you buy three of them, all the way down to $1.45 if you buy 7+ at once.

The titles being offered are,

When I first looked at this bundle, I was surprised by the number of games that were negatively rated. Some are 37% or 27% negative! It’s quite possible when purchasing games from this bundle that you may pick up releases that is not as popular as you may expect. Yet, if you are discerning, then you can find some good deals here. Just know that the games may not be as high value as you will find in the next bundle.

Still though, I have some of the notable games listed below,

Best Value: TDS – Tower Defense Strategy, LunarLux, and GemCraft Bundle.
Best Rated: GemCraft Bundle, LunarLux, and Wall World Complete.

Build your own Platformvania (Fanatical)

GRIME - Deluxe Edition

The last bundle from Fanatical is a Platformvania bundle. In it, you can choose from a starting price of two games for $4.00 each, with the cost going down slightly to $3.75 each if you buy four or more.

The games offered include,

One surprising aspect about this bundle is the wide variety of value for the games (or not). Of game prices found in this bundle, there’s a lot of titles that have historical lows of just under $4.00, or worse. While there’s also a few that have historical lows of more than $11! This means that it’s quite possible to get a little bit ripped off with this bundle, but also to find a great deal. So, looking at websites like Is There Any Deal Is important for an offer such as this.

As indicated in the bolded games above, this one has a lot that are quite popular or are really worth the price. Please see below for the different notable games for value or those that are rated the best. Additionally, please see the Is There Any Deal link below.

Some of the notable games are,

Best Value: Particle Hearts, GRIME – Deluxe Edition, and Johnny Trigger: Definitive Edition.
Best Rated: Particle Hearts (Only 13 reviews), Pine Hearts, Sephonie, Decline’s Drops, and Cavern of Dreams.

Remedy Games – 30th Anniversary Bundle (Humble Bundle)

Max Payne 2 The Fall of Max Payne

The last bundle for the day is one that I was initially glad to see. Yet, upon further reflection, it’s not actually the most exciting. Like other Humble Bundle offers, this one is made-up of three different tiers, with the largest including ten games for $27.

They are,

As you can see above, only two games are bolded This is unfortunate, because a number of them are quite popular, such as the Max Payne titles, Control, and the Alan Wake releases. Still, when I did my analysis on it, I found that many of these games had historical lows of under a dollar! Some that were like this include many of the games from the Max Payne and Alan Wake series. Plus, the actual raw review scores were not as high as I expected. Consequently, I can’t recommend this bundle.

Some of the notable games are,

Best Value: Quantum Break and Control Ultimate Edition.
Best Rated: Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, Max Payne, and Quantum Break.
