Tuesday’s Deals – A Bunch of Bundles Available, and Touhou Games Are on Sale!

This week we have six different bundles featuring a variety of genres. A number of them are really diverse, with an assortment of types of titles being represented in each. However, a couple of the more focused ones include a RPG Maker set and a digital board game collection, both of which are from Humble Bundle. For some though, the most exciting deal is that many shmups from the super popular Touhou series are on sale on Steam! This is a very rare occurrence, so I made a section about it at the bottom of the post despite not having any pictures for it.

Before we begin, know that all the links on this page will take you away from this site. Please open the links in a new browser window if you want to keep reading after you click on one of them. Now, on to the bundles!

Build your own Slayer Bundle 2025 (Fanatical)

Shantae Risky's Revenge - Director's Cut

Our first bundle of the day has a pricing model that has been popular at Fanatical since at least the end of July. The starting price is $1.65 if you buy 3 games, down to $1.45 each if you buy 7 or more titles. Like many of the other bundles, these represent a variety of genres.

The games on offer are,

Looking at the games above, this is actually a really good deal when it comes to value. Defender Bros, Charrua Soccer, Sub-Verge, and On the Dragon Wins all have historical lows of $4.99 and up. Meanwhile, really popular releases are also available, such as Shantae: Risky’s Revenge, Happy’s Humble Burger Farm, Defender Bros, and Bogos Binted?

RPG Maker: United Together Bundle (Humble Bundle)

Since I like to support “Maker” bundles, I made sure to include this one today. However, it is also not the most exciting since much of it has been done before. The top tier includes 25 items for $25, while the first tier with RPG Maker XP is pretty boring. The price for the first tier is $3.00, but the same game is available at Fanatical for just $2.49. Plus, it has been given away for free before. Still, it does get better as you buy more stuff.

For those curious, here is how the different tiers break down. By the way, each higher tier includes everything from the previous one as well,

Tier 1 ($3):

Tier 2 ($15):

Tier 3 ($25):

Before I begin going on with the analysis of this bundle, I will point out that I haven’t bothered bolding anything above. It’s because the items are more game development programs and asset packs; the full bundle only has a few sample games included in it.

Additionally, a very similar bundle was released in the past, back in the middle of March 2025. I think this one is better, with it including more content for RPG Maker MV and a couple more adventure games in tier 2. Although, tier 2 doesn’t include RPG Maker MV, even though it has a resource pack for it. That’s a bit confusing.

Also be aware that this bundle,

  • Doesn’t include the most recent RPG Maker engine (RPG Maker MZ),
  • RPG Maker Unite isn’t too popular,
  • And the key for Unite is for the Epic Games Store.

To learn more about what I think, please see my post from March 2025.

The bundle’s IsThereAnyDeal page or what Humble Bundle says about it may be worth considering as well.

Games Delivery Bundle (Indie Gala)

Here’s the next bundle containing six games for $3.99, or about $0.67 each. These are from a variety of genres and seem to be smaller releases, as is typical of Indie Gala.

The titles are,

Surprisingly, all the above could have been bolded above, but half of the games have fewer than 50 reviews. Every one of them have historical lows of more than $0.67 and are at least 80% positive on Steam.

Since the bundle is so inexpensive and small, I recommend just looking at IsThereAnyDeal or Indie Gala’s page if you want to know more.

Point Blank Bundle (Humble Bundle)

High On Life

Having made it past the halfway mark for the bundles this week, we come to a shooter collection from Humble Bundle. The full bundle includes 7 games for $15, or about $2.14 per title.

They are,

As is typical of Humble Bundle, the games on offer run a gamut of various degrees of quality. EXFIL isn’t the most popular, with it having a positive rating of just 70%, yet four of the games are at least 89% positive. Still, if you want a few of these games, especially Rising Front and/or EXFIL, the bundle is probably worth it to you.

More details can be found at IsThereAnyDeal and Humble Bundle.

Build your own Blazing Bundle (Summer 2025) (Fanatical)

Oblivion Override

Fanatical says this is a blazing bundle, but I am not sure what is blazing about it. It seems to have a number of simulation titles, which is fine, but when I see the word “blazing,” I think of shooters and action games. Anyway, the bundle starts at $1.65 each for 3 games, all the way down to $1.45 each if you buy 7 or more.

The games on offer are,

As you can see above, only about half are bolded. Still, there are some quality games here. The most popular are Frog Detective 3, Figment 2, and Ad Fundum. Although in this list, know that Figment 2: Creed Valley was free for a week over at Epic, as I reported on in the middle of July. As such, you may already have that game from there, so don’t buy it again by accident! Looking at the games from a value perspective, Oblivion Override is the real winner, with the historical low for it being over $10! Aquarist, Doom’s Hair Salon, and Mini City: Mayhem may all be worth a look as well, with each having a lowest price of $4.19 or higher.

Please go and see IsThereAnyDeal and Fanatical for more details.

Table Top Tag Team: DireWolf & Marmalade Bundle (Humble Bundle)

Clue/Cluedo: Classic Edition

The last bundle of the day is for digital boardgames. Since the entire bundle is just $12 for 10 games, I’m going to share the full list.

The games are,

Even though I am mainly curious about this bundle because of The Game of Life and Clue, I hope that some of my readers will be excited to see it. To me, the biggest winner is Reiner Knizia Yellow & Yangtze since it is 91% positive and the historical low for it is $10.04, making the bundle a fine deal just by itself!

Touhou Shmups Are on Sale on Steam

Amazingly, many of the official Touhou shmups are on sale on Steam right now. According to some Reddit posts, this is the first time this has ever happened. In fact, people are kind of going crazy over it. For some examples, please see r/touhou, r/shmups, or r/GameDeals.

Now keep in mind, these games are in Japanese, but language patches are usually available for each, in English at least. For some exhaustive instructions on patching Touhou games, please see this link. The majority of the games on Steam are on sale at 30% off. At least one is on sale for 20%, and a few are not at all. Most of them are currently priced at $10.49.

If you are unsure of where to start, any of the above Reddit groups will be worth a look to see where to begin. Among the games on Steam, Touhou Fuujinroku ~ Mountain of Faith is a common recommendation. It is also known as Touhou 10.

Here is a list of links to the games. By the way, if you cannot find them on Steam by searching, you need to allow for non-English titles to appear in your search results.

9- Touhou Kaeizuka ~ Phantasmagoria of Flower View.

9.5-Touhou Bunkachou ~ Shoot the Bullet.

10-Touhou Fuujinroku ~ Mountain of Faith.

11-Touhou Chireiden ~ Subterranean Animism.

12-Touhou Seirensen ~ Undefined Fantastic Object.

12.5-Double Spoiler

12.8-Yousei Daisensou ~ Touhou Sangetsusei

13-Touhou Shinreibyou ~ Ten Desires.

14-Touhou Kishinjou ~ Double Dealing Character.

14.3-Danmaku Amanojaku ~ Impossible Spell Card.

15-Touhou Kanjuden ~ Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom.

15.5-東方憑依華 ~ Antinomy of Common Flowers.

16-Touhou Tenkuushou ~ Hidden Star in Four Seasons.

16.5-Hifuu Nightmare Diary ~ Violet Detector.

17-Touhou Kikeijuu ~ Wily Beast and Weakest Creature.

17.5-東方剛欲異聞 ~ 水没した沈愁地獄 (Sunken Fossil World, not on sale)

18-Touhou Kouryudou ~ Unconnected Marketeers.

19-Touhou Juuouen 〜 Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost. (not on sale)

20-Touhou Kinjoukyou ~ Fossilized Wonders. (not on sale)

I could say a lot more about the series, but there are tons of fan sites and fan games made for it. If you want to go down the whole Touhou rabbit hole, here is a link to the Touhou Wiki.

I also discussed this section on my new YouTube channel here.
