Tuesday’s Deals – at Least There Is Double Dragon, Slay the Spire, and One Good Indie Gala Bundle!

This Tuesday’s Deals is pretty low key, with a worthwhile (or not) bundle available from each of the major bundle sites. These include the IGN Live, Build your own Platinum Collection, Survivor Saga, and Tiny Beat bundles. Some of the standout titles on offer include Slay the Spire, Potion Craft, and Double Dragon Gaiden, among others.

IGN Live Bundle (Humble Bundle)

This IGN Live bundle has three tiers, with the first being $10 for 3 games, and the complete bundle at $22 for 8 games. These are a multitude of different genres represented with no noticeably consistent theme among them. For ease of analysis, I have indicated which games are part of the different tiers in the list below.

They are,

From a value perspective, all three tiers are a good deal, with each historical low being pretty significant as stated at the IsThereAnyDeal page. The only game that comes close to being only 80% positive is Old World, which is 18% negative. All of the others are at least 89% positive, which is really good! Additionally, the game with cheapest historical low is Black Book, with a lowest price of $4.78, which is still significant (as in, it isn’t just a $2 game).

For more info, please see the bundle’s IsThereAnyDeal page. You can buy the bundle at Humble Bundle’s website.

Build your own Platinum Collection Bundle for June 2025 (Fanatical)

Perhaps the most exciting bundle for the week is this pick and choose one from Fanatical. It starts at 3 titles for $3.33 each, or $9.99, down to a price of $2.85 each if 7 or more are purchased at once. The games included come from a variety of genres, including metroidvanias, beat’em ups, boomer shooters, and more.

The games on offer are,

Note that Final Vendetta is included as part of the Final Battle Bundle (as mentioned above) and also as part of the Badass Brawlers Bundle that I mentioned in last week’s report which is still available at Humble Bundle. I wanted to point that out so you didn’t buy the game twice! For the titles bolded above, they are at least 80% positive and their historical lows are higher than what is on offer here. More details can be found at the bundle’s IsThereAnyDeal page. If you want to buy the bundle, it is available at Fanatical.

Survivor Saga Bundle (Indie Gala)

Indie Gala’s most recent bundle surprisingly fits a specific genre, which is not typical for them. As the title says, this one is related to survivor games. As of this writing, the bundle is for 6 games for the price of $3.49, but that cost may go up to $3.99. Indie Gala typically charges $3.49 for each of their bundles, and then increases the price $0.50 to $3.99 after the first 24 hours. I don’t know if they intend to do that here too.

The games are,

The (un)fortunate thing about these games is that many of them are not very popular. That means you are taking a shot in the dark, so to speak, if you buy this collection. Four out of 6 of the games have less than 10 reviews, with The Journey of Piggy actually having none! Harvest Days: My Dream Farm has the most reviews, at 142, but 34% of them are negative.

As such, I cannot recommend buying this bundle. If you want more details, they can be found at the IsThereAnyDeal page, or you can take a chance on it by going to Indie Gala’s website. What I’d recommend instead is to consider the next one, because it seems to have far better games available.

Tiny Beat Bundle (Indie Gala)

For me, this bundle pretty much saves Indie Gala for the week. Like most of their other bundles, this one has a variety of game genres represented. These include a rhythm-based platformer, a shmup that reminds me of S.C.A.T. on the NES (Wikipedia), and a character action game. The price for it is $3.99.

The titles included are,

Of the titles found above, four out of six are worth bolding because they are at least 80% positive and their historical lows are reasonable, at $2.99 or higher each. In all actuality, the three games I described at the beginning of this section are all at least 95% positive, which is really impressive! Moreover, at 84 reviews, YinYang Street Ultimate Edition has more reviews than any other game in the bundle, making this a true “hidden gem” collection! You can find out more about it from the IsThereAnyDeal page and you can pick it up by going to Indie Gala.
