Tuesday’s Deals – Beat ’Em Ups, a Bunch of Indies, and an itch.io Bundle!

As we get going in our week, this time we have four additional bundles to explore. One is specifically tailored for beat’em up fans, two are great for indie gamers, and our last one is an itch.io bundle of multiple games for just a $1 by a solo developer!

Badass Brawlers (Humble Bundle)

We start our deals off today with a great beat’em up bundle from Humble Bundle. It comes in 3 tiers, but I’m just recommending the full bundle of 7 games for $16.00.

To me, the big deal about this one is that River City Girls 1 and 2 together exceed the price of the bundle, as shown on the IsThereAnyDeal page. The first has a low of $9.29 while the second has $12.39 as its low. If you like brawlers, be sure to consider this bundle! You can find it at Humble Bundle.

Build your own Indie Treasures Bundle (Fanatical)

For gamers on a budget, this is one of the two best offers available this week (the other is at the bottom of this page). With this Indie Treasures bundle, buyers can choose from 18 different games, 16 of which are still available as of the time of this writing. The initial price for each game is $1.00, but if you choose 5, they are $0.60 each, and then just $0.50 each for 10 or more!

Considering what we find at the IsThereAnyDeal page, every game is a decent value if one picks up at least 5 at a time. For the games I’ve bolded above, they are each at least 90% positive on Steam. Meanwhile, I’ve also italicized two of the above since they are more than 25% negative (Blue Maiden and Legendary Creatures 2). Those most focused on value will want to check out the Monument Valley games and Code Alkonost: Awakening of Evil; each of those have historical lows of at least $7.99.

Build your own Triple Pack (Fanatical)

This bundle was just released on Monday, June 1. It features a variety of Indie titles, and as the title says, it allows buyers to build their own triple pack. Over a dozen games are available for purchase, with each one being for $1.00, but you have to get at least 3 to take advantage of the offer.

Taking a look at IsThereAnyDeal, nearly all of the games above are a good deal from a value perspective. Every game on offer has a historical low of at least $1.99, with the only exception being Teslagrad 2. If you want to get just the best of the best, I’ve bolded the games that are at least 90% positive above. Yet from the side of value, Sands of Aura, Free-Bees, Beyond The Edge of Owlsgard, The Falconeer: Warrior Edition, and HEXAROMA: Village Builder make the most sense.

Summer Taste Campaign by Keyrif (Itch.io)

Our last bundle of the day comes to us from a solo developer named Keyrif who has developed a number of titles in a variety of genres. These include a first-person shooter, a 2D action-platformer, a first-person RPG, and more! The reason for the bundle is to help fund a new game that is hoped to be released on Steam as well.
