Last week Fanatical began rolling out their Bundlefest for February 2025. There’s a lot of games still available to purchase, but many seem underwhelmed by what’s on offer. Let’s break it down and see what’s going on!
Now, before we begin, note that each bundle is listed in order of release, along with a link to it’s page at Fanatical and the corresponding IsThereAnyDeal page. For the list of games, titles placed in bold are worth looking into from a financial value standpoint.
The bottom of each list also explains the criteria for an item to be pointed out in the list. I’ll then share my brief thoughts about the bundle as a whole. Because there is a large number of games being mentioned, individual Steam links will not be provided.
Hopefully what I share will be helpful to you! Let me know if you pick anything up! Thanks for reading!
Speaking of which, here is a list of quick links to the respective sections on each bundle!
- Build your own Platinum Collection
- Build your own Debut Bundle
- Build your own Capcom Bundle

The games in this Build your own Platinum Collection Bundle are,
- Afterimage
- Everdell
- Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines
- Hexarchy
- Hexguardian
- Lost Eidolons
- Mercury Fallen
- Munchkin Digital
- OTXO
- Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Enhanced Edition
- Root
- Selfloss
- Sophia the Traveler
- Spin Hero
- Station to Station
- Tabletop Games 4 Pack
- Tales & Tactics
- The Gunk
- The Holy Gosh Darn
- Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip
- Vernal Edge
The criteria for a good value on a game is if the $3.33 price is at least $3 cheaper than its historical low according to IsThereAnyDeal.
Note: This bundle is not part of Bundlefest, but I had already written this material when I figured that out. So I am keeping it here to try and help anyway!
For this one, the clear frontrunner in value is the Tabletop Games 4 Pack. For the four titles, the combined lowest price is approximately $25, so to get them for under $4 is really nice! A couple of other standouts are Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip and Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines, both of which are more than 95% positive on Steam and have historical lows of $10.79.
This is a good bundle for boardgame fans and those who like simulations. It is not the best value for those who enjoy Metroidvanias and action titles, though. Afterimage, Vernal Edge, and The Gunk don’t save buyers too much money.
Build your own Debut Bundle

The games in this Build your own Debut Bundle are,
- Archaeogem
- Clutter’s Greatest Hits – Collector’s Edition
- Cursed to Golf
- Evolings
- Jewel Match Atlantis Solitaire 2 – Collector’s Edition
- Jewel Match Solitaire Collector’s Edition
- Karate Survivor
- Lindwyrm
- Pancake Patrol
- Papetura
- Savior of the Abyss
- Sylvio: Black Waters
- The Dark Cave
- X Invader
The criteria for a good value on a game is if the $1.66 price is at least $1.50 cheaper than its historical low according to IsThereAnyDeal.
I enjoy small Indie titles, so this bundle was quite exciting to see. Unfortunately, I wasn’t too interested in the games available other than Karate Survivor ($1.20 under its historical low).
If you’re going for value, Lindwyrm, Sylvio: Black Waters, and Papetura are the most expensive.
For those who want the highest rated games, Papetura, Clutter’s Greatest Hits – Collector’s Edition, Archaeogem, and Pancake Patrol are at least 89% positive one Steam. Keep in mind though, Clutter’s doesn’t have a lot of reviews and it is a hidden object game.
This bundle is a pass for me.
Build your own Capcom Bundle

The games in this Build your own Capcom Bundle are,
- Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle
- Dead Rising 4 – Frank’s Big Package
- Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition
- Devil May Cry 5 + Vergil
- DmC: Devil May Cry
- Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
- Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite – Digital Deluxe
- Mega Man 11
- Mega Man X Legacy Collection
- Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2
- Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection
- Onimusha: Warlords
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy
- The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles
The criteria for a good value on a game is if the $6.50 price is at least $3 cheaper than its historical low according to IsThereAnyDeal.
This bundle is the worst so far. It’s actually the main reason for the text on the thumbnail for this post.
My recommendations are as follows:
- Buy 2 or 3 of the games bolded above.
- Avoid Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, Street Fighter V – Champion Edition, and the Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle outright. If you want those games, buy Humble Bundle’s Capcom Arcade Classics & Fighters Pack instead. It has more Street Fighter games, and more arcade games than Fanatical’s offerings for just a $1.01 more!
- In regards to Resident Evil, just wait for the next time Capcom bundles the majority of the series all at once again.
This bundle is a hard pass. Sorry Capcom, the price is just too much! You’re great otherwise!
Build your own Simulator Collection

Link to the IsThereAnyDeal Page.
The games in this Build your own Simulator Collection Bundle are,
- Aquatic Store Simulator
- Besiege Seafarer Edition
- Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop
- Cat Cafe Manager Deluxe Edition
- Cattails: Wildwood Story
- City Game Studio: Your Game Dev Adventure Begins
- F1® Manager 2023
- Firefighting Simulator – The Squad
- Food Truck Simulator
- Inn Tycoon
- Medieval Machines
- Pool Cleaning Simulator
- Session: Skate Sim Supporter Edition
- SunnySide
- Tavern Master Complete
- The Witch of Fern Island
- Trail Out
- Train Life: A Railway Simulator Supporter Edition
The criteria for a good value on a game is if the $6.50 price is at least $3 cheaper than its historical low according to IsThereAnyDeal.
This bundle seems to be kind of good value wise, but many of the games aren’t rated that positively. For instance, the Witch of Fern Island, SunnySide, and Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop are all $11+ for their lowest price, but they also have at least 27% negative rating on Steam to go along with it!
Only a couple of moderate recommendations are worth sharing,
1) Picking up Cat Café Manager Deluxe Edition and Cattails: Wildwood Story. The latter doesn’t meet the criteria to be bolded above, but only by 51 cents. It has over 1000 reviews on Steam and is 98% positive. Additionally, Cat Cafe Manager is 86% positive across all of its reviews.
2) Picking up Session: Skate Sim Supporter Edition and something else. Its lowest price in the last year is $11.16. Perhaps with Trail Out, which is 82% positive on Steam.
Finally, whatever you do, don’t waste your money on F1® Manager 2023! The 2024 version is currently being offered for free on the Epic Games Store for the next few days! For those curious, I reported on its availability for free last week.
Overall, this bundle is a pass.

The criteria for a good value on a game is if the $3.50 price is at least $3 cheaper than its historical low according to IsThereAnyDeal.
Now we’re talking! This is the best bundle offering so far!
Many of the AAA games aren’t that big of a deal for this, but some others are worth it. Especially multipacks of indie titles! They tended to have a really cheap game as a part of them, but with multiple games that would be worth buying just by themselves. At least based on value.
Feel free to dig through here and pick some stuff up, if desired. This is a great series of bundle choices!
Build your own Bento Deluxe Bundle
Link to Fanatical’s page for the bundle.
Link to the IsThereAnyDeal Page.
The games in this Build your own Bento Deluxe Bundle are,
- Coffee Talk Episode 1 & 2 – Complete Series
- Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age
- Dragon Spirits 2
- Evil Tonight
- Fruitbat Triple Pack

- Ghostwire: Tokyo
- Hunt the Night
- Immortal Life
- Last Command
- Long Gone Days
- Project: AHNO’s Ark
- Spirittea
- The Coma 2B: Catacomb
- The Last Soldier of the Ming Dynasty
- Thistlemine
- Until Then
The criteria for a good value on a game is if the $7.50 price is at least $2.99 cheaper than its historical low according to IsThereAnyDeal. By the way, the reason this has a $2.99 threshold instead of $3 is because two games miss being bolded by just one penny if $3 is the criteria to be considered a good deal.
Upon first blush, this bundle looked like it was a complete rip-off. Typically, Fanatical’s Bento Bundles have prices ranging from $3.50 to $3 at the beginning. Because of that, I was shocked at how high the prices were for this bundle. Then I ran the numbers, and I was incorrect. This is another great bundle by Fanatical!
I’d like to say more, but I am not familiar with a lot of these titles. However, the highest-rated games include:
- Last Command
- Thistlemine (only 6 reviews)
- Coffee Talk Episode 1 & 2 – Complete
- Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age
- Until Then
- Project: AHNO’s Ark
Beyond those, at least five other games have a rating of 85% positive on Steam. This is the second great bundle by Fanatical! Hurray!

The criteria for a good value on a game is if the $7.50 price is at least $3 cheaper than its historical low according to IsThereAnyDeal.
When this bundle was first shared on Reddit, it was one that redditors really got excited about. Even so, it is still a bit confusing. There are a lot of lower rated and cheaper titles in this bundle offering. Some of the titles that miss the mark on value but are quite popular include,
- Planet Zoo
- Turbo Kid (this is a really bad value)
- Planet of Lana
Beyond those, Cryptmaster is the most highly rated, and Fanatical has a low stock on the game right now. Other notable games include,
- Mika and The Witch’s Mountain
- Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft
- Sucker for Love Double Pack
The only other game that seems to hit a lot of what people are looking for is Shadows of Doubt. It has a 85% positive rating on Steam.
Upon analysis, even though this bundle was exciting for many, I think it was just pretty good. There are some enjoyable games in it, but it also features a lot of poorly rated and cheaper titles as well. It is the 3rd best bundle in value, by my estimation.
Overall, Fanatical’s Bundlefest February 2025 was pretty good, but not amazing. I can say that I was initially underwhelmed by it in many ways, but having the last 3 bundles make it worth it in the end was good to see. Hopefully next time the Bundlefest begins it will start out stronger!
