When it comes to kid-friendly games, small touches mean a lot, even if the gameplay isn’t very deep. Such is the case with Robby’s Day Out, which is a pleasant little slice-of-life adventure game on the Game Boy.

In it, you are a bunny who is given three simple errands from your grandpa, and are told to come back when you are done for a reward. In regards to length, the game is very short, you just walk around across a small map of about 5 screens with about 8 characters to talk with. All of the errands are very easy and take no challenge to accomplish. The game’s strength lies in its charming dialog and enjoyable music.

It’s a fun little game that can be completed in just five minutes, but little ones will enjoy reading the funny dialog sequences multiple times. I had a great time watching my kids play this, and I have a nice soft spot for it, too. I think is a good small game, and recommend it if it sounds like something you would enjoy. It is available for free on Itch.io.
